Abstract: Based on the observation wave data of the Taihu lake, derived the distribution of wave height and period in shallow water, obtained the relation between wave characteristics.In this paper, by the autorcorrelation function method and the maximum entropy method (MEM),the corresponding dimensionless spectrum is derived. this method can be used also to calculate the wind wave characteristics in reservoir.
