Abstract: In order to realign Nantong river section, draw up economic and reasonable regulation works,the tidal river model of Nantong river reach was designed and set up.Fix-bed and partial moving-bed experiments about various regulation projects of this river section were conducted.By comprehensive analyses,engineering measures forstabilizing present Nantong river reach and regulation programs for improving itsexisting river shape were put forward.
