Abstract: Sefety assessment of Zhangjiazui Dam is carried out based on the design, construction and operation data. The analysis shows that dam hazards, due to low standard of flood control, unstable seepage and cracks in the dam body affect the safety of the project seriously. Suggestions of strengthening and monitoring are given out at last.
